Cardinal RodriguezOn Wednesday, March 11, at 10 am, Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez Maradiaga, SDB, Chairman of the Council of Cardinals advising Pope Francis, will have a special event for religious sisters, brothers, and priests serving in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in celebration of the Year of Consecrated Life. He will present a talk entitled “The Joy of Consecrated Life: New Wine in New Wineskins” in the Bartlett Pastoral Center at the Athenaeum. This talk is by invitation only, but if you’re interested in viewing it, the St. James Project will live stream it here to this site.

Later the same evening, at 7:30 pm, the Cardinal will present a talk entitled “The Vision of Pope Francis for the Church” as part of the LeBlond Lecture series. The talk will be given in the St. Gregory the Great Chapel on the Athenaeum campus. The event is free and open to the public. This is a special opportunity to hear from one of Pope Francis’ closest allies on the plight of the Church and the world under our new pope. You can read about the feature event here. A printable flyer is on the right sidebar of this page. Please help us spread the word! Those unable to attend will be able to view the talk live directly from the Athenaeum website.
