The Athenaeum of Ohio

ATH_SealThe Athenaeum of Ohio/Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West is the umbrella organization within which the St. James Project (SJP) resides. Since the SJP is housed on the Athenaeum campus and draws from the seminary for her facilities and faculty members, including the director of the project, all of SJP’s partnerships are realized within an a priori formative relation with the Athenaeum. If you’re not aware of all that the archdiocesan seminary of Cincinnati has to offer, including courses for lay people to enroll in, please consider touring our website.

    • Thanks for the encouragement, adelahenly.

WordPress.com is a very helpful resource for creating blogs. You can create a WordPress blog for free; we decided on the $99/yr option as it allows us to upload videos and such and receive their help. WordPress has step-by-step procedures for creating a blog after you choose one of their themes. They’ve been able to help me with glitches along the way. I also sent a “rough draft” of the blog to friends before we went public. They had some good suggestions. Finally, I asked Steve Sullivan (steveco@fuse.net), a graphic designer and friend, to create the header with St. James. This was well worth the purchase. Also, I’m a perfection, so I spent a lot of time just tinkering around the colors and phrasing to get the blog where it is today.

      God bless your endeavors!
