Is there any more pressing issue in the Church and the world right now than marriage? William B. May, a sought-after national speaker who worked with the California Catholic Conference on Proposition 8 that successfully defined marriage as between one woman and one man, the author of Getting the Marriage Conversation Right: A Guide for Effective Dialogue and founder of Catholics for the Common Good, will be coming to the Athenaeum to speak on “Taking Back Marriage for Our Children and Families”. (See the printable flyer on the right sidebar.)
Any added clarity on this critical issue is welcome by the St. James Project. We are thus happy to co-sponsor this event with the Family and Respect Life Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati at the Bartlett Pastoral Center on the Athenaeum campus on Sunday, July 19 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
Due to constraints out of our control (namely, the videographers will be out of state), the talk will not be live streamed as per usual. Please come in person if you can.
