Metanoia happens. A good crowd of hungry souls filled the Bartlett Pastoral Center on Saturday, May 31 to learn and share about personal conversion and the Catholic faith. After morning prayer, led by Parrhesia team members, Dr. Nathe of the St. James Project delivered a a meditative address on steps for conversion before engaging the crowd in a spiritual exercise on Heaven and Hell. It was a moving experience with plenty of spiritual food for fodder. We then moved to St. Gregory’s Chapel inside the walls of the Athenaeum for an inspiring personal testimony by Stephanie Bricker, together with Benediction, Adoration, and Confession available–no better way to cap off a little retreat!
We want to thank all the people who came out and participated, and especially Parrhesia and the three priest confessors for all the work and time they put in to make the event a great success.
The St. James Project will be teaming with Parrhesia again on October 22 at the Holy Spirit Center for what will surely prove to be an insightful talk on St. John Paul II and the New Evangelization, led by the Athenaeum’s Msgr. Frank Lane. Keep abreast of our Events page for forthcoming details.
